Guidance

Our trained lay counselors are available to discuss any aspect of your situation and provide information about all of your options. We understand that your situation is unique and personal. If you are pregnant, the decision you make concerning your pregnancy will affect your future. We will provide you with information regarding abortion, adoption and parenting so that you will be able to make a fully informed decision about your future.

Post-Abortion Guidance

Whether you are a man or a woman, if you have had an experience with abortion and want to talk with someone, our trained lay counselors will take time to listen to you and address your needs and concerns.

Support Groups

We offer programs to help individuals struggling with emotional pain from past abusive relationships or an abortion experience. These confidential groups work to promote emotional well-being and support through trained facilitators.

  • Abuse Recovery Support Groups
    These groups provide support pertaining to verbal, emotional, physical and/or sexual abuse.

  • Post-Abortion Recovery Groups
    These groups deal with the effects of abortion through compassionate and helpful study.

Classes

The following classes are currently offered for women and/or men. Call 972-386-4015 for more information or to register. There is never a charge for any class.

  • What to Expect During Your Pregnancy
    This one-evening class covers the basics on how to care for yourself and your baby during pregnancy.

  • Childproofing Basics
    Come learn how to childproof your home, find out how to install your infant car seat, and receive other helpful information pertaining to your baby's safety.

  • First Week of Life with My Baby - What Do I Do Now?
    What do you do when you bring your baby home? Learn how to bathe your baby, care for the umbilical cord, determine what is "normal," and know when to call the doctor.

  • Childbirth Preparation
    Designed for women in their third trimester of pregnancy, this four-session course covers information about when you should go to the hospital, labor and delivery, and relaxation and breathing techniques.

  • Healthy Relationships
    Learn how to develop and maintain healthy relationships. We'll address various issues, including what makes a relationship work, how to set healthy dating boundaries, and how to improve your relationship with your significant other.

  • Money! Money! Money!
    Ever wonder where your money is going? Learn how attitudes affect your finances, how to manage your money, how to prepare a budget, and how to improve your financial situation.

  • One-on-One
    Our trained lay counselors offer guidance and practical advice regarding the issues you face as an individual. Do you need help figuring out how to go back to school? Do you have questions about your children or your relationship with your boyfriend/girlfriend? Are you having trouble sorting out your spiritual life? Whatever the issue may be, we're here to offer help.

For Men
If you think your wife or girlfriend could be pregnant, our trained male counselors are here to talk with you, man-to-man. They can provide information that will help you look at all of your options and will specifically address your needs and issues as a man.
